The steering wheel is made of D25mm x 2mm tubing and D14mm solid
spokes stainless steel (1.4571 AISI 316)

The daggerboards and their boxes must have the correct form to the
centimeter at a length of 2.8m this is not trivial. Therefore the boxes were
welded according the finished boards. Finally the boards are moving nicely
with a gap of 2cm to the boxes. :-))
