After having prepared the bridgedeck and the roof sections, the manufacturing
process of the hulls was started.
Bridgedeck and roof are stored at the south end of the building site. The decks
are assembled upside down. The cross sections have to be prepared.
The main hull sheets are connected to the structures consisting of decks, cross
sections and extrusions. The bend sheets for the underwater hull area are
partially prepared. The later deckshouse roof is creating a shady area at
sometimes 40°C.
The outer sides of the underwater area are finished. The window fronts in the
hulls are equipped with the covers and window rails.
The tulip shapes for the underwater areas are finished and the hulls are ready
for turning. Stands where the hoisting belts are connected, are attached to
interface plates welded to the hulls.
The hulls are turned into their final orientation. Bridgedeck and transom with
stern walk are fitted.
The rear part of deckshouse is sealed. The motor rooms and front stowage
hatch covers are mounted. “Anchor locker” 2.6m x 6m x 1m is finished by 50%.
